Hydrogen Thermal Pressure Relief Device – B02 002
- The temperature related pressure relief device (TPRD) serves as a safety device for tank systems.
- It can be integrated in a stationary housing as well as in an oriented housing (MOTV – manually operated valve) assembled directly on to the tank itself.
- The thermal pressure relief valve basically acts like a conventional pressure relief valve unit.
- Process connection: Integrated in housing
- Materials:
- Valve housing material : 1.4404 (X2CrNiMo17-12-2)
- Sealing material: FKM
- Opening temperature: +110°C (+10°C)
- Internal leakage: < 10 ppm
- External leakage: < 10 ppm
- Currently the product is available for CNG but can be also be used for hydrogen applications after TÜV certification (if the customer requires)
