Vacuum Loss Detector VLD

The VLD Vacuum Loss Detector monitors high vacuum insulated applications. The monitoring is permanent and reliable (24/7).

The VLD is a two-part monitoring system. It consists of an explosion-proof high vacuum sensor and an associated indicating unit (single version) that triggers an optical and audible alarm. The alarm is given at the earliest possible moment.

The sensor is explosion-proof through Ex-d or Ex-i (pressure proof encapsulation or intrinsically safe).

The indicating unit (available in a single or a double version) is equipped with dry relay contacts for alarm-forwarding. It comes in a weather-proof stainless-steel housing with IP 66.

For the monitoring of two separate interstitial spaces/vacuum insulations, two sensors and the double indicating unit are used.

Design of connections, e. g. flanges, according to customer requirements.

Pre-alarm and main alarm thresholds are programmed according to customer's specification.
