In the following, we explain what information we collect when visiting our website and how information is used:

1. Collection and storage of personal data and the nature and purpose of their use.

a) When visiting our website

Every time a user accesses the internet offer of the Hyfindr GmbH and every time a file is retrieved, data about this process will be temporarily stored and processed in a log file.

In particular, the following data are stored about every access/retrieval:

  • pseudonymized IP address
  • the operating system used,
  • the device used,
  • type of browser used,
  • requesting domain,
  • the country and location of origin from where the access was made,
  • date and time,
  • accessed page/name of the retrieved file
  • the volume of transferred data,
  • notification whether the access/retrieval was successful.

Our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (f) GDPR to collect the data is based on the following purposes:

  • ensuring a smooth connection and comfortable use of the website,
  • evaluation of system security and stability, and
  • for other administrative purposes.

In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

b) When using our contact form

For questions or requests of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via several type of forms provided on the website. In doing so, at least the specification of a valid e-mail address and your name is required so that we know from whom the inquiry originates and in order to be able to answer it. If further information is required for specific type of requests you may have we disclose this in the respective contact form indicating the mandatory field information. Other information can be provided voluntarily.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO on the basis of your voluntarily given consent. You can revoke your consent at any time simply by sending an email to bye-bye@hyfindr.com.

c) When concluding a contractual relationship

When concluding a contractual relationship with Hyfindr GmbH (e.g. registration on the website) or when contacting third parties that have registered via our website (e.g. for purposes purchasing products from vendors, requesting quotes from vendors or asking questions to vendors) we ask you to provide the following personal data:

  • data that personally identifies you such as name and email address, billing and shipping address/ and phone number,
  • data identifying your company, such as company name, address, communication data (e-mail address, telephone), VAT ID or tax number, if applicable,
  • information about payment methods, and
  • other personal data that are required or authorized by law to collect and process and that we need for your authentication, identification or to verify the data we have collected.

The aforementioned data is processed for the purpose of facilitating, initiating or handling the contractual relationship and, if necessary, passed on to the respective third party to facilitate the requested contractual relationship with such third party. The processing of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. The storage period is limited to the purpose of the contract and, if applicable, legal and contractual retention obligations.

d) Use of payment service providers

To process orders or other payable request, we also work with the payment service provider(s); the respective payment service providers are displayed prior to executing such orders or payable request. We pass on your payment data to the commissioned credit institution within the framework of payment processing – for the purpose of the payment – insofar as this is necessary for payment processing. You can select the respective payment service providers for payment on our website.

In case your actions trigger invoices, the respective data needed for processing such invoice will be collected, processed and stored. If your actions trigger an invoice in the process of contracting third parties via our website that have registered on our website (e.g. for purposes purchasing products from vendors, requesting quotes from vendors or asking questions to vendors) we transfer the above data to such third party for purposes initiating, processing and facilitating the transaction you have requested on our website. The legal basis for the transfer of data is in each case is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

e) When registering for our newsletter

If you have consented in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO, we will use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter on a regular basis. Unsubscribing is possible at any time. 2. Transfer of personal data

A transfer of your data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below or describe in this privacy policy does not take place.

We will only pass on your data to third parties if:

  • you have given your express consent to do so in accordance with (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO),
  • this is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO),
  • there is a legal obligation to disclose (Art.6 para.1 lit. c DSGVO),
  • the disclosure is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data (Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO).

In these cases, however, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the necessary minimum.

Our privacy policy is in accordance with the applicable data protection legislation and the data will only be processed in the Federal Republic of Germany and countries that have been considered by the European Commission as a third country ensuring an adequate level of data protection. Upon request, we will be happy to inform you whether and which personal data relating to you is stored (Art. 15 DSGVO), in particular about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling. You also have the right to have any incorrectly collected personal data corrected or incompletely collected data completed (Art. 16 DSGVO). Furthermore, you have the right to demand that we restrict the processing of your data, provided that the legal requirements for this are met (Art. 18 DSGVO). 4. Duration of data storage

On our website, we have included links to our websites in the social networks (Linkedin and others) and Youtube. We would like to point out that these are only links that forward to our Internet presence in the aforementioned networks, they are not so-called plugins with which you could, for example, “share” or “like” information on our website in the networks. As far as we are aware, it is not technically possible for social networks to collect personal data on our website via the mere links. For the purpose and scope of data collection after forwarding, please refer to the data protection information of the respective network.

8. Embedded content from other website

Content on our website may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites (such as from Youtube) behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
