Fuel Cell Gas Control Valve - GCV

  • Fuel Cell Gas Control Valve (GCV) is designed to regulate the air flow and pressure in the cathode path of a fuel cell system.
  • The GCV can be used as a bypass valve or as a valve to control the pressure of the system.
  • By acting as a bypass valve, the GCV guides fresh air from the intake to the exhaust.
  • It can also bypass the fuel cell stack or just the humidifier.
  • Usage to either bypass flow or increase backpressure.
  • Its electrically driven valve plate is able to continuously open and close flow paths in the air system of a fuel cell system.
  • This regulates the air mass flow and the pressure of the fuel cell stack.
  • Flexible application options and continuously adjustable valve positions with low pressure drops ensure efficient and safe operation of the fuel cell system.
  • Highly effective regulation of air flow and pressure of cathode path.
  • Highly flexible to ensure efficient and safe operation of fuel cell systems in various applications.
  • Fast opening butterfly valve concept with high flow cross section (up to 65 mm) for very low pressure drops at high mass flow.
  • Technology derived from Acoustic Valve Generation 2 used in automotive series production in passenger cars.
