Unlike conventional high-pressure systems, DASH M modules store hydrogen at low pressures (30–45 bar) while achieving volumetric storage densities comparable to ~1000 bar compressed gas.

They are extremely durable, providing 20+ years of service life and maintaining full storage capacity even after 10,000 charging cycles.

Passive operation is possible without active cooling or heating; higher inflow and outflow rates can be achieved through thermal management.
