Hydrogen Leakage Sensor - Marquardt

  • The H2 Leakage Sensor is designed for reliable monitoring of hydrogen systems and early detection of potential hydrogen leaks. The sensor measures hydrogen concentrations from 0 to 4 vol. % H2, with an extended measurement range of up to 16 vol. % H2.
  • Its MEMS-based sensing principle uses thermal conductivity to provide fast and accurate hydrogen concentration monitoring with low cross-sensitivity to other gases. With a hydrogen response time of less than three seconds, the sensor enables rapid detection of hydrogen leaks.
  • In addition to hydrogen concentration, the sensor measures temperature, humidity and ambient pressure. This combines multiple relevant environmental parameters in one compact sensor solution and provides additional data for safety functions and optimized system control.
  • With protection classes up to IP67/IP6K7, the H2 Leakage Sensor is designed for demanding automotive and industrial environments. CAN, LIN, PWM and analog outputs enable flexible integration into different system architectures.
  • The sensor is suitable for a wide range of hydrogen applications, including fuel cells and electrolyzers, hydrogen-powered vehicles, hydrogen storage installations, stationary energy systems and industrial hydrogen infrastructure.
