Do you use seamless stainless steel tubes in the field of technical gases or hydrogen and oxygen applications? And in combination with couplings? We understand your requirements for surface finish, hardness, and cleanliness. Our SKA 150 tube meets the requirements for exactly theseapplications. 

To ensure the tubes are optimally protected during transport, the tube ends are secured with PE caps. Each tube is individually packaged in polyethylene heat sealed bags.

Advantages

  • Cost reductions achieved through streamlined warehousing and minimized storage space requirements.
  • Safety. The universal usability significantly reduces the likelihood of errors resulting from improperly inserted tubes.
  • Streamlined work processes with tighter timelines. The convenient length of 2 meters (also available in a 6-meter version upon request) and caps on the tube ends facilitate more efficient and streamlined work processes on construction sites and within companies.

Technical Details

  • Cleanliness as per ASTM A 632 S3 "TCC" and oil and grease suitable for oxygen service
  • Hardness max 90 HRB for wall thickness > 1,65mm, Max. 160 HV for wall thickness upto and incl. 1,65 mm
  • Inner Ra-values – not defined, resp. max 0,8 μ for OD >= 10 mm,
  • Outer Ra values – max 0,8 μ

The Story

In the past, a special design was required for each application in order to meet the different challenges. This has developed over the years and is actually the case in almost all companies. There has to be a better way!

That was our concept. A tube designed for oxygen and hydrogen applications, as well as compression and couplings, offered at a price comparable to that of standard quality tubes, would address numerous challenges. Following extensive discussions with companies and individuals who require tubes that fulfill these specifications on a daily basis, we have achieved "production readiness" for a universal standard tube suitable for all these applications.

Our SKA 150 tube is suitable for all these applications without exception. The dimensions ranging from 6.00 mm (6.35 mm) to 25.00 mm (25.40 mm) are readily available from our warehouse in materials 1.4404 / 1.4435 at nearly any time.
