Birdy Hydrogen Cooling System Description
- Birdy is a hydrogen cooling system that uses R744 as its refrigerant, a KM with particularly low GWP. The overall system enables the cooling of T40 or T20 at the dispenser. In addition, the chiller can be used for T0 refuelling.
- Birdy is designed for printed circuit heat exchangers (PCHE) and provides the required cooling capacity for B2B refueling in accordance with SAE J2601 standards for hydrogen refueling.
- The Birdy hydrogen cooling system is designed for ambient temperatures from -20°C to +40°C. Optionally, it can also be designed for ambient temperatures from -40 °C to +50 °C.
- Kustec's control system, which is specially tailored for hydrogen cooling, guarantees high efficiency and reliability.
