Modular fuel cell energy system – OOLTY Cabinet

  • The OOLTY Cabinet from H2 Power n Heat GmbH is a highly flexible, modular energy system designed to provide a reliable power supply and emergency power.
  • It combines state-of-the-art water-cooled PEM fuel cell technology with integrated battery storage in a compact design that is scalable up to 100 kW. The system is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.
  • The OOLTY cabinet not only generates electrical energy, but also enables efficient use of waste heat, achieving an overall efficiency of > 90%.
  • Modular fuel cell system
    • Each cabinet module contains up to 5 OOLTY power boxes (5 kW fuel cell systems), which are water-cooled for high efficiency and long service life. Up to 5 modules can be combined in one cabinet for outputs of up to 25 kW in continuous operation.
    • The modules are intelligently networked and automatically adapt to the current load.
    • Up to 4 cabinets can be combined for continuous operation with outputs of up to 100 kW.
  • Integrated buffer battery
    • A 4.8 kW battery is integrated per fuel cell system.
    • This battery stabilizes the system during peak loads, enables a quick start, and increases supply reliability.
  • Flexible power outputs
    • Standard 48 VDC output for DC applications or battery storage.
      Optionally, the direct current can be converted via inverter-based systems to
      • 230 VAC (single-phase) or
      • 400 VAC (three-phase).
  • Efficient heat utilization
    • The OOLTY cabinet not only uses the electrical energy from the fuel cell, but also provides valuable useful heat.
    • Since the water-cooled 5 kW fuel cell systems release their waste heat in a closed cooling circuit, this heat can be efficiently extracted and used externally.
  • Increased overall efficiency
    • By utilizing the waste heat from the fuel cells, the OOLTY cabinet achieves a significantly higher overall energy efficiency (> 90%).
    • This reduces energy costs and increases the ecological benefits of the system, especially in areas where electricity and heat are needed simultaneously.
  • Integrated water heating circuit
    • Each fuel cell system is water-cooled, which allows the heat generated to be dissipated safely and in a controlled manner.
    • An optional heat exchanger unit allows the waste heat to be used for specific purposes or fed into existing heating systems.
