ZSW is able to perform all analytical and testing steps, from fundamental research to market-readiness and from material analysis to megawatt stacks.

Analytical Methods and Capabilities (among many others):

SEM with EDX and FIB-SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy with Focused Ion Beam)
- High-resolution imaging of surfaces and cross-sections.
- FIB enables site-specific sample preparation and 3D structural analysis.
- Elemental composition analysis is performed within the SEM.
GDOES (Glow Discharge Optical Emission Spectroscopy)
- Depth profiling of multi-layer materials.
- Rapid and quantitative elemental analysis.
XRD (X-Ray Diffraction)
- Crystal structure analysis.
- Phase identification and texture measurements.
XPS (X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy)
- Surface-sensitive technique for chemical state analysis at approximately 10 nm depth.
- Identifies oxidation states and bonding environments.
ToF-SIMS (Time-of-Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry)
- High-sensitivity, high-resolution chemical analysis.
- Excellent for thin films and depth profiling.
