Hydrogen Recirculation Blower (HRB)

The hydrogen recirculation blower (HRB) is used to return unreacted hydrogen from the anode exhaust area back into the fuel cell stack to increase fuel utilization.

By using the HRB, hydrogen consumption is reduced while overall system efficiency is increased.

Additionally, it ensures recirculation across the entire operating range and supports gas mixing and moisture distribution within the stack.

The hydrogen recirculation blower from Purem by Eberspächer remains continuously open when idle, making it an ideal choice for combination with a passive ejector unit.
