Plant Engineering Software Eplan - Rittal

Eplan delivers a plant engineering platform to design, engineer and operate a hydrogen production plant, e.g. an electrolyzer across all disciplines. It is possible to start with process engineering based on relevant norms and standards followed by their symbols and then to answer the instrumentation and control requirements, finalized by electrical engineering ending in automation and a Rittal enclosure.

It is an USP using the synergy between Rittal and Eplan to design enclosures from inside and outside via data exchange between software and hardware.

Eplan cloud solutions support operations and maintenance of electrolyzers by offerings like eView, a mobile Viewer, eManage for cross functional cooperations and ePocket to have a reliable documentation.

Eplan supports all aspects of engineering and operations of electrolyzers from the FEED to Maintenance! Continous data flow based on european norms and standards, an existing library with engineering objects of hydrogen relevant systems and an own macro technology supporting modularized engineering is best in class to answer engineering needs.

You can use Eplan in separate projects of dedicated disciplines and as a platform to work on one database as the single source of truth.

Eplan Fluid: EPLAN Fluid is your engineering tool especially for designing and automatically documenting schematics for fluid power systems. The fluid power systems includes hydraulics, pneumatics, cooling and lubrication. The software supports a broad range of engineering methods, from manual creation to standardised and template-based work. Once entered into the schematics, the project data form the foundation for automatically completing machine and plant system documentation. In short, EPLAN Fluid offers you much more than “just” drawing schematics.
Eplan Preplanning: EPLAN Preplanning enables you to save engineering data early in the process. This data can include actuators and sensors for a plant system, machine or package unit. You can import data from external tabular sources, enter plant system or machine overviews, as well as, graphical process and instrumentation diagrams (PFD, P&ID, Loop). This allows you to quickly generate initial data sheets or specifications for materials procurement (BOM).
Eplan electric P8: EPLAN Electric P8 is a consistent, integrated and fast electrical schematic software for the planning and electrical design of machines and plant systems. The software supports a wide variety of engineering methods: from manual creation through to standardised and template-based approaches. The project data, once entered into the electrical schematic, become the foundation for the automated completion of machine and plant system documentation.
