The PCE-28.SMART pressure transmitter is a smart pressure transmitter designed for the measurement of pressure, underpressure, and absolute pressure of gases, vapors, and liquids. It features a piezoresistant silicon sensor separated from the medium by a diaphragm and a specially selected type of manometric liquid. The transmitter supports the HART communication protocol, enabling data interchange with the transmitter through a KAP-03, KAP-03Ex communicator, other Hart type communicators, or a PC using an HART/USB converter and Raport 2 configuration software. It offers a 4...20 mA output signal and is certified for intrinsic safety (ATEX, IECEx). The transmitter is available in various housing types (IP65, IP66, IP67, IP68) and process connections (G1/2, M20×1.5, 1/2NPT, etc.), with options for different materials and operating conditions. It provides high accuracy (0.1% or 0.075% for special versions) and long-term stability, with thermal compensation ranging from -25°C to 80°C. The transmitter is suitable for a wide range of measuring ranges, from 0...1000 bar to -1...70 bar, and can be customized with various options such as marine certification, oxygen service, and NACE MR-01-75 certification.
