The PCE-28/EXD Explosion Proof Pressure Transmitter is a high-precision device designed for measuring pressure, underpressure, and absolute pressure of gases, vapours, and liquids in hazardous environments. It features a piezoresistant silicon sensor separated from the medium by a diaphragm and a specially selected manometric liquid, ensuring accurate measurements. The transmitter is certified for explosion-proof environments (ATEX, IECEx) and is suitable for use in zones under explosion hazard. It offers a wide measuring range from 0...25 mbar up to 0...1380 bar, with options for overpressure, underpressure, and absolute pressure measurements. The device is available in different casing types (SGM, FL, PZ2) with varying IP ratings (IP66 to IP68) and process connections (G1/2, 1/2NPT, GP, 1/2NPTF, 1/4NPTF, Autoclave). It provides a 4...20 mA two-wire output, ensuring reliable signal transmission. The transmitter is also SIL 1 certified and compatible with NACE standards, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications. Key features include marine certification (DNV, BV), long-term stability, and thermal compensation over a wide temperature range (-10...80°C).
