Solenoid valve VOFC
- The pilot-operated solenoid valve VOFC has an excellent safety concept and can be used everywhere.
- That is why it is used in world-leading chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical production lines, as well as in the oil and gas industry, making it the favourite choice for controlling single- or double-acting valve actuators.
- The solenoid valves are also extremely reliable and safe in fail-safe functions for safely switching off valve actuators with positioners.
- Safety devices in process industry plants are needed to reduce the hazards created by these plants for people, the environment and property down to the lowest possible, acceptable level.
- As a general principle, the more hazardous the plant, the more reliably its safety devices must operate in case of an emergency. Once a SIL level has been assigned to a plant, specific installation principles must be observed, e.g. redundant design.
