  • The GEN1.5 fuel cell engine from FTXT is built on a localized and fully controllable supply chain, with key components developed in-house. It is designed to deliver a balanced combination of low cost, long service life, high efficiency, and high system integration while meeting vehicle-grade engineering standards.

Key features

  • Compact System Architecture: Highly integrated architecture with same-side media interfaces and integrated BOP manifold design, enabling compact packaging and improved power density.
  • High System Reliability: Rigorous design verification and validation coupled with vehicle-grade online health diagnoses.
  • High-efficiency BOP Design: SiC (silicon carbide) DC/DC converter with up to 98% peak efficiency, air compressor with 71% efficiency, and a hybrid hydrogen supply system (circulation pump and ejector) operating across 1‒100% load range, reducing power consumption by up to 60%.
  • Superior System Efficiency: The fuel cell system achieves a rated efficiency of ≥42% and a peak operating efficiency of ≥58%.
