KÜHME Armaturen GmbH KÜHME Armaturen GmbH, specializing in the development, design, and production of special valves for power engineering for more than 50 years and based in Bochum, Germany, has been pioneers in hydrogen valve applications since 1973, when the company developed and installed special quick-closing and control valves for operation at PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) plants used in hydrogen generation, achieving maintenance-free valves rated for 160,000 switching cycles and load changes. The company's hydrogen-focused valve technology addresses suitable engineering considerations including high-performance sealing systems and material resistance, with KÜHME solutions providing uncompromising safety for hydrogen applications across production processes and consumption-sided utilization in energy generation, whether the hydrogen is green/turquoise, blue, or grey in origin. KÜHME's product range spans single-plate gate valves for gas distribution grids, quick-closing shut-off valves for firing systems, and complex tailored mixing skids specifically designed for cooling processes in steel and glass product manufacturing, with all KÜHME valves engineered to guarantee superior and full internal/external tightness, diffusion and embrittlement-free design, and proven expertise in hydrogen applications spanning over 50 years since the company's first PSA plant valve deliveries.
