The Model 5000 is a Portable Gas Purity Monitoring System that provides continuous gas purity measurements up to 99.99% with an accuracy of approximately 0.1%. It uses the speed of sound in a resonant acoustic cell, alongside temperature and thermodynamic properties to determine gas purity. The system is equipped with a 7 touch screen panel, data logging/control software, and electrochemical sensors for measuring H2O and O2 down to single digit parts per million (ppm). It is durable, portable, and suitable for various research applications, verification, and testing across different environments. The system is maintenance-free, operates without reference gases, consumables, filaments, optical sources, or GC columns, and has a high-pressure-rated resonant acoustic sample cell.
