The DURAG Flame Supervisor is a compact, fail-safe optical flame monitor designed for all fuels, offering secure and safe operation. It features an Auto Learn function for easy setup in various firing situations and built-in redundancy to ensure continuous process operation. Certified to SIL 3 for both low and high demand modes, it provides functional safety and reliable performance in critical applications. The device includes a Flame Companion app for remote control and total remote operation, enhancing user-friendliness and connectivity. It supports certified security as per IEC 62443 for high cybersecurity and offers extended ambient temperature ranges, eliminating the need for additional insulation or cooling. The Flame Supervisor detects all gas fuels using ultraviolet (UV) cells and includes dual-channel configuration for safe landing, ensuring continued operation for up to 22 hours and 50 minutes in case of internal disruption. It is equipped with photodiodes for continuous flame monitoring without blind periods and features local LED indicators for clear status display. The device is available in two versions: the Rotary Switch version for manual settings and the Select version with advanced features like multiple filters, Auto Learn, and connectivity via the Flame Companion app. The Select version also supports dual-color detection (UV + IR) for wide fuel ranges and includes fiber optic options for complex conditions. The Flame Supervisor is designed for easy setup, intuitive operation, and seamless integration with the Flame Companion app, offering cross-platform availability for Android and Windows.
