The DA-600S-Catalytic is a gas detector designed for detecting combustible gases, particularly hydrocarbons, using a catalytic sensing principle. Catalytic sensors operate by generating heat during gas oxidation; when combustible gas reacts with oxygen, the resulting heat causes a resistance change that is converted into a signal proportional to gas concentration using a Wheatstone bridge circuit. The device features a 2.4-inch TFT LCD display for real-time gas concentration monitoring and RGB LED indicators (Red, Orange, Green) for status and alarm signaling. It supports measurement of combustible gases in the range of 0–100% LEL. The detector is designed for hazardous environments with explosion-proof certification and includes multiple output options such as 4–20 mA analog output, RS485 Modbus communication, and relay outputs. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 55°C and humidity up to 95% RH (non-condensing).
