The PEM PURE is a specialized tube designed for use in the cathode and cooling of PEM (polymer electrolyte membrane) Fuel Cell systems. It is engineered to allow the passage of oxygen and deionized water or coolants while maintaining high purity and inertness in Fuel Cell environments. The product features a platinum-cured silicone inner layer, ensuring ultra-low leachable substances and excellent resistance to thermal aging and oxidizing agents. It is available in various configurations, including different reinforcement layers and connection options, and meets stringent regulatory standards such as USP Class VI, FDA approval, and RoHS compliance. The tube is constructed with a transparent and smooth inner layer of platinum-cured silicone and a customized color external layer, typically green for air applications and blue for water and coolant applications. It is manufactured with three polyester fabric reinforcements and can be produced with customized lateral outlets and metal screwed connections for adapting any sensor. It can also be equipped with stainless steel or aluminum connections. The product is designed to operate within a temperature range of -60°C to +180°C, with short-term capability up to 200°C. It is also available in alternatives such as PEM PURE PLUS, PEM PURE HT, and PEM PURE WIRED for specific applications requiring enhanced pressure resistance, higher temperature tolerance, or vacuum resistance.
