PEM - Electrolysers are Proton Exchange Membrane electrolysers designed for industrial hydrogen and oxygen production. These systems offer high purity hydrogen (up to 99.999%) suitable for fuel cell vehicles, with automatic regeneration and integrated water treatment systems.
They operate with high efficiency and compliance with various safety norms and regulations. The systems are capable of producing hydrogen and oxygen with maximum output pressures of 30 barg and 14 barg, respectively, and ensure purity without additional purification. The hydrogen purification system meets ISO 14687-2 standards for use in fuel cell vehicles.
The electrolysers can operate with feeding water of quality 98/83/EG, with a pressure range of 2 to 6 bar, a pH range of 4 to 10, and a temperature range of +5 to +35 °C. They are equipped with an integrated Reverse Osmosis System (ROS) and electro de-ionisation system for water treatment.
The power input ranges from 400 V AC to high voltage, with a frequency of 50 Hz. The systems comply with various safety directives including Machine directive 2006/42/CE, Pressurised equipment directive 2014/68/UE, Low voltage directive 2014/35/UE, Electromagnetic compatibility directive 2014/30/UE, and ATEX directive 2014/34/UE, and are CE marked.
The systems are modular and can be scaled to multi-MW hydrogen production units with multiple electrolysis stacks arranged in parallel, gas separation equipment, and auxiliary systems housed in a transparent enclosure.
