The HK PLUS HYDROGEN GENERATOR by VICI DBS is a sophisticated hydrogen generator designed to provide a continuous supply of high purity hydrogen (99.999%) for gas chromatography (GC) applications. It operates by utilizing a proprietary Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) technology housed in a 100% titanium cell, ensuring safe and reliable performance. The generator eliminates the need for high pressure cylinders by using deionized water and a standard electrical supply, making it a hazard-free alternative. It features a unique permeation membrane drying system that removes the necessity for desiccant cartridges, reducing downtime and costs. The generator is equipped with a touch screen control system that continuously monitors vital operating parameters, ensuring safety and consistency. It can supply up to 5 GCs with a maximum output capacity of 250 mL/min and is certified for CE, FCC, MET, UL, and CSA compliance. The generator is ideal for applications such as GC-FID, GC-NPD, GC-FPD, Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer (THA), hydrogenation reactors, and hydrogen fuel cells. It offers improved efficiency, safety, and performance by eliminating the need for long gas lines and ensuring a constant, high purity gas supply.
