Add to compare
  • The Hydrogen Gas II MP is a gas monitor utilizing Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS), a contactless optical measurement technique. It offers fast response time, very low detection limits (ppb for many gases), no interference from background gases, long-term calibration stability, and no zero drift.
  • It is designed for applications in the chemical, petrochemical, and semiconductor industries, among others, and provides reliable trace-level gas measurement with high performance and low maintenance. The monitor is a self-contained unit requiring connection of power, sample gas inlet/outlet, and purge gas (application dependent).
  • It is designed to work with a suitable sample conditioning system to ensure a clean and dry sample is delivered to the MP cell. The LaserGas™ II MP features a multipass configuration where the laser beam is coupled into a Herriott cell, creating a long optical path that enhances measurement sensitivity.
  • It is certified for ATEX and CSA, ensuring safety in hazardous environments. The monitor has a compact design, is easy to install and operate, and requires minimal maintenance, providing an excellent return on investment.

Use Cases

  • Chemical industry
  • Petrochemical industry contaminants monitoring
  • Natural gas treatment (sweetening plants; H2S in NG)
  • Industrial gas (impurities in pure gases)
  • Semiconductor industry trace impurity measurements
  • Power plants (stack testing of corrosive emission gases)
  • H₂S emission monitoring (pulp & paper, refineries, biogas production)
  • Hydrogen impurity

Capabilities

  • Contactless, in-situ/inline trace gas measurement using TDLAS with multipass optical path for high sensitivity
  • Stable long-term operation with no zero drift and extended calibration intervals (up to 12 months)
  • Operation in hazardous areas (ATEX/IECEx Zone 2; CSA Class I, Div 2)
  • Flexible integration via 4–20 mA and digital communications (TCP/IP, MODBUS; fibre optic optional)
