The Li’l CRITTER™ High-Pressure Gas Compressors by Hydro-Pac are compact, hydraulically driven gas compressors designed for laboratory and production applications requiring high pressures in a small footprint. These self-contained units use a hydraulic intensifier system with oil-free, non-lubricated gas cylinders to ensure clean gas compression. The compressors are available in single-stage and two-stage configurations and are offered in power ranges from 3 to 7.5 hp (2.3–5.6 kW). They are capable of compressing a wide range of industrial gases, including hydrogen (optional configuration), and are designed for easy maintenance using Hydro-Pac’s patented free-piston design. An integrated isolation chamber prevents contamination between hydraulic fluid and process gas, making the units suitable for high-purity applications.
