The GG GAS DETECTOR is a specialized gas detection device built for harsh environments. It features target gas-specific sensor element technology to prevent false alarms, ensuring accurate readings for various gases. The device includes SAFECELL® technology for ammonia electrochemical sensors, which checks the electrical viability of the electrochemical cell. It is available in corrosion-resistant enclosures made of polycarbonate or stainless steel, both rated for NEMA 3RX washdown duty. The GG GAS DETECTOR also includes an intelligent heater for temperature and moisture control, and an internal splash guard to redirect water from high-pressure hose hits. It is suitable for applications such as cold storage, compressor rooms, sea vessels, shipping warehouses, ice rinks, refrigeration, food processing, breweries, grocery stores, wastewater, chemical plants, vehicle depots, wineries, water treatment, and pharmaceuticals. The detector provides a 4/20 mA linear output signal and operates on +24 VDC power. It has a warranty of 2 years on the sensing element and transmitter, and is certified by SGS to UL 61010-1 and CSA C22.2 No. 61010-1-12.
