CMC 61325 is a laminating film based on a 25 µm PEN carrier film, equipped with a heat-seal adhesive on a polyester resin base. It is delivered with a PE protective cover. The recommended lamination temperature is from 120°C to approximately 180°C, with adjustments in pressure and dwell time required at lower temperatures to achieve the same sealing result. It is RoHS and REACh compliant, offering high electrical insulation properties with a breakdown voltage of at least 6000 V, and mechanical strength with a tensile force of at least 30 N/cm and elongation of at least 50%.
CMC Klebetechnik GmbH is a German manufacturer of technical adhesive tapes and specialized coated films. For the hydrogen industry, they specialize in producing ultra-thin, hydrolysis-resistant sub-gasket films (such as PEN, PEEK, and PPS) that mechanically stabilize and seal Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEAs) in PEM fuel cells and electrolyzers.
