The HIOKI ALDAS-Mini (Active Line Device Analysis System) is an Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) measurement system designed for visualizing the dynamic characteristics of electrolysis cells and fuel cells. The system measures impedance (R, X, θ, Z), voltage, and current during active operation, and simultaneously generates real-time I-V curves and Nyquist plots for cell performance analysis and degradation identification. It supports 1 to 8 input channels and operates in both Logging Mode and EIS Mode. The ALDAS-Mini connects to existing DC power supplies and electronic loads without requiring any modifications to the existing system. It supports electrolysis cell types including PEMEC, SOEC, and AWE, as well as fuel cells and cell stacks. The measurement current range is 100 mA to 500 A using the CT6845A sensor, with a maximum of 2000 A achievable depending on the combination of current sensors used. The measurement voltage range is 250 mV to 60 V across a frequency range of 10 mHz to 100 kHz. The system requires a Windows 11 PC (not included) connected via wired LAN.
