The MV-CD is a metal vent designed for use with round ductwork, featuring a crowned round shape. It is an explosion vent that can withstand system pressures up to 70% of the stamped burst pressure range and offers a good service life. The MV-CD has a perimeter stitching of the top section, allowing for much thicker materials than other domed designs, which enables a high cycling vent. It can also withstand full vacuum without the need for vacuum support bars on the frame. The MV-CD is available in size ranges from 8 to 36 inches, with a set pressure range of 1.5 psig to 10 psig. It comes with a 2-year warranty and is commonly used in bulk storage applications. The MV-CD is made from 316 stainless steel and fluropolymer, and it is non-fragmenting in design. It meets NFPA 61 and NFPA 68 regulations.
