The PEM COOL is a specialized hose designed for use in DI water and cooling systems of PEM (polymer electrolyte membrane) fuel cells. It features a peroxide-cured silicone inner layer, which ensures ultra-low leachable substances and component inertness in PEMFC environments. The hose has excellent mechanical properties, low conductivity, and exceptional resistance to thermal aging and oxidizing agents (oxygen, ozone, UV). It is available in various sizes and can be customized with additional polyester fabric reinforcements, lateral outlets, and metal or stainless steel connections. The hose operates within a temperature range of -60°C to +180°C, with short-term use up to 200°C. It meets RoHS directives and SAE J20 R1 standards, ensuring compliance with environmental and performance requirements. The hose is also available in alternatives like PEM COOL PLUS (with additional reinforcement) and PEM COOL WIRED (for vacuum resistance and bendability).
