The PEM CELL is a high-performance material specifically designed for Proton-Exchange Membrane (PEM) Fuel Cells. It is an EPDM-derived composite that offers exceptional properties such as low permeability, excellent resistance to thermal aging and oxidizing agents (including oxygen, ozone, and UV), and high purity with minimal leachable substances. The material is used for the entire construction of hoses, enhancing overall permeability and performance. It is suitable for various parts within a Fuel Cell system, including cathode, anode, and refrigeration lines. The material exhibits high tensile strength, elongation at break, and a glass transition temperature of -51°C. It is compliant with RoHS directives and has a wide operational temperature range from -50°C to +130°C, with short-term use up to 150°C. The material is also available in different diameters and wall thicknesses, with specific technical specifications for working and bursting pressures. Its construction includes three polyester fabric reinforcements, and it can be customized with lateral outlets and metal connections for various applications.
