This large stack assembly press is a Commonwealth Automation fuel-cell manufacturing machine for controlled stack compression with optional resistance-welding integration. The current product page states servo-press capacity options from 60 to 100 kN, powered pivoting from horizontal to vertical and customizable stack-alignment tooling. Optional tooling can include strap insertion clamps, strap-tensioning/forming equipment, an integrated weld head and leak-testing ports. The system is intended for assembling larger fuel-cell stacks where compression, alignment and joining operations need to be combined.
