Add to compare

The FS-990-PK is a fluorinated cation-exchange membrane with PK reinforcement, featuring a thickness of 90 μm. It is designed for electrochemical processes that require high oxidative stability, such as water electrolysis and redox-flow batteries. This membrane offers low resistance, high mechanical stability, high selectivity, and excellent chemical and oxidative stability. It is delivered in a dry, non-activated form and can be pre-treated with a 10 wt% H₂SO₄ solution at 70–100 °C for at least 6 hours to achieve optimal performance. The membrane is trans-illuminant, with a yellow to beige color, and is delivered on a colorless rigid PET foil. It is important to handle the membrane with care to avoid punctures, creases, or scratches, as these can lead to leaks. The membranes performance is further enhanced by its high ion exchange capacity, low area resistance, and high conductivity in 0.5 M H₂SO₄. It is a reliable choice for applications requiring high efficiency and durability in electrochemical systems.
