FS-710-RFS - Fuel Cell Membrane

  • Application in Fuel Cell (H2-PEMFC)
  • Transparent and colorless appearance
  • Ready for use without pretreatment
  • Dry delivery form

Add to compare

The FS-710-RFS is a perfluorinated cation-exchange membrane specifically designed for use in hydrogen fuel cells (H2-PEMFC). It is characterized by its low electrical resistance, high mechanical stability, minimal dimensional swelling, and exceptional stability in acidic environments. The membrane is delivered as a transparent foil on a multilayer PET backing, making it ready for immediate use without the need for pretreatment. It is suitable for use in dry form and requires careful handling to avoid damage, such as punctures, creases, or scratches, which could lead to leaks. The membrane is reinforced and stabilized, with a thickness of 9-13 μm, and offers high ion exchange capacity (IEC) and excellent mechanical properties, including a Youngs modulus of over 300 MPa and tensile strength exceeding 40 MPa. It is ideal for applications requiring high performance and durability in fuel cell systems.
