The Optical compact flame monitor D-LX 101, D-LX 701 is an easy, versatile, and flexible compact flame monitor with integrated UV or IR flame sensor. It is designed for monitoring gas, oil, and coal flames, particularly suitable for applications with single burner view and combustion processes in continuous operation. The device offers a wide temperature range of –20 °C to 60 °C (EX –40 °C … +85 °C), a two-channel control unit for optimum safety combined with high availability, and options for direct view or combination with fiber optic systems. It ensures high availability and safety, with features like easy replacement of wear parts and compatibility with various fuels. The device is available in two variants: a smaller rectangular model (D-LX 101) and a larger cylindrical model (D-LX 701), both featuring optical lenses and electrical connectors. It is ready for operation with a 1x NO contact and has a flame failure detection time (FFDT) of 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 seconds. The device is also equipped with a local display using LEDs for easy visibility and has a degree of protection of IP65. It is suitable for use in various environments and is compatible with different fuels, making it a versatile and reliable solution for flame monitoring.
