The cGas Detector Analog Transmitter is a low maintenance gas monitoring device designed for use in non-explosion rated, commercial applications. It is ideal for monitoring toxic, combustible, and refrigerant gases. The device is powered by 24 VDC or ground referenced AC and features an LCD display, temperature compensation, and the ability to upgrade firmware and configuration in the field via a USB connection. It includes pre-calibrated sensors with Plug & Play Smart Sensor technology, making sensor replacement quick and easy. The device comes in a standard water/dust tight, corrosion-resistant ABS/polycarbonate enclosure with a hinged, secured door and is IP54 rated with an optional splash guard for protection in water spray or wash down applications. It offers a 4-20 mA analog output or jumper selectable 0-10, 2-10 V outputs. It also includes an internal 2A SPDT dry contact relay with or without an internal buzzer, a USB port for configuration and firmware upgrades, and optional low temperature operation and sensor calibration extending firmware. It is suitable for applications such as parking garages, vehicle repair shops, ice arenas, commercial pools, battery charging rooms, and manufacturing plants.
