The UV 3.0 ATEX H2 Back Pressure Regulator is a self-acting, diaphragm-controlled spring-loaded proportional control valve designed for precise pressure control in explosive atmospheres (ex atmospheres) with small to medium flow rates. It is constructed from deep-drawn stainless steel (1.4404/316L) for excellent corrosion resistance and features a soft seal on the valve cone. This regulator operates without requiring pneumatic or electrical control elements, making it easy to install and maintain. It is compliant with the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and DIN EN ISO 80079-36, ensuring safety in hazardous environments. The valve includes a leakage line connection, an adjustable screw with seal and lock, potential equalization, protected body connections, a grounding lug, and the use of low-spark materials. It is suitable for gases and liquids, with a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C and a pressure range of 0.002 to 0.52 bar. The regulator offers accurate pressure control by balancing the inlet pressure against the valve spring force, and it is available in various Kvs values and diaphragm sizes to suit different applications.
