Jiangsu Trina Green Hydrogen Technology CO., Ltd. Jiangsu Trina Green Hydrogen Technology CO., Ltd. (Trina Hydrogen), a subsidiary of Trina Group headquartered in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, is an equipment manufacturer with electrolysis water hydrogen production technology as its core, backed by the resources of parent company Trina Solar -- the world's largest solar PV manufacturer (founded 1997, ranked among the top global module shippers). The company released its 1000 Nm3/h ALK (alkaline) electrolyzer by the end of 2022 and has since claimed a new record for Chinese alkaline electrolyser stack efficiency with its second-generation machine, achieving third-party tested performance of 3.898 kWh per normal cubic meter of hydrogen (equivalent to 43.34 kWh/kg H2), a notable improvement over its first-generation machine's 4.2-4.3 kWh/Nm3 efficiency. Trina Hydrogen commenced construction of a 1.5 GW (also reported as 1 GW) green hydrogen electrolyzer gigafactory in Jiangsu province at an estimated cost of USD 98 million (RMB 700 million), positioning the company to become the world's fifth-largest electrolyzer manufacturer once operational, and launched its first 1 GW electrolyser production line in Yangzhou in October 2024. Having won a 96 MW electrolyser order in China exceeding its total domestic installations to date, Trina Green Hydrogen continues devoting itself to scientific and technological innovation, providing customers with low-cost, high-quality, flexible deployment of green hydrogen equipment and integrated solutions as it pursues international expansion and aims to become a leading global hydrogen energy integrated solution provider.
