The BrazeLet Ni9P-9003 functions as a specialized brazing paste based on a nickel-based BNi9 brazing alloy engineered to serve as a high-temperature joining material for solid-oxide fuel cells (SOFC) and solid-oxide electrolyser cells (SOEC). Composed of a Ni–15Cr–3.6B alloy with a 90 wt% metal content and sub-63 µm gas-atomised powder, the material features a distinct melting temperature of 1055°C, a minimum brazing temperature of 1100°C, and a binder evaporation range of 300–400°C. The paste is optimized for screen or stencil printing of thin layers on flat or structured metal parts, operating effectively within a recommended gap clearance of 30–100 µm. It directly supports high-precision assembly when brazing in vacuum environments or protective dry-hydrogen or argon atmospheres.
