JUMO safetyM TA – Multifunctional safety limiter with fault tolerance

The JUMO safetyM TA is a multifunctional safety limiter with fault tolerance that can be used to monitor measured variables such as temperature, pressure, flow rate or level.

The measurement input is freely configurable and can be used for:

Resistance temperature detectors
Single and dual thermocouples
Standardised signals

Using suitable sensors or current signals, the JUMO safetyM TA can acquire process values and, via the actuators, bring a plant or machine into a safe state. A relay operating on the quiescent current principle serves as the actuator.

The safety architecture of the safety function can be configured by the user depending on their safety requirements and availability requirements. In addition to the classic 1oo2D S safety architecture, a 1oo2D Voter and 2oo2 are also available.

Furthermore, the device is equipped with an analogue output, an additional relay output KV and a digital input. This allows for the implementation of additional functions such as a pre-alarm or the output of measured value or error information.

LEDs and a dot-matrix LCD are used to visualise measured values and device information. The device can be configured via a setup programme or using the four buttons on the device.
