- The HCE is a high flow quick connector specially engineered to match the substential thermal managment need of fuel cells. A particular attention was paid to make it easy for operators to handle it thanks to its lightweight aluminium material and a dedicated automatic low-force connection mechanism.

- The HCE meets the high flow required for cooling hydrogen fuel cells while minimizing the size of the necessary pumps due to its low pressure drop

- Taking into account the added weights of the connector, hose, and fluid, Stäubli developed a special low-force, automatic connection for the HCE, thereby simplifying maintenance
- Treated aliminium respecting electrical properties of the fuel cell cooling fluid
- Materials used for construction are special aluminium alloys with surface treatment to prevent ionization
- Flat-face non-spill technology
- Guarantees fluid integrity thanks to the air-tight connection
