Since 2019, we have been developing our own ceramic tape formulations for SOFC and SOEC cells, which gives us full control over their composition, quality and properties. We manufacture anode, electrolyte and barrier ceramic tapes on a laboratory scale, and in parallel we are developing the technology to produce them on an industrial scale.
Our proprietary tapes are the basis for DFC cells - fully ceramic, double-sided fixed-oxide cells that we design, build and test in-house. By being independent of third-party material suppliers, we ensure greater reproducibility of parameters, process stability and shorter deployment time for your research or commercial project.

HydrogenTech is a research and development startup from Krakow, Poland, which is engaged in the production and development of solid oxide fuel cells. Our main potential differentiator among the competition is our internationally patent-protected high-temperature SOFC DFC bilateral reversible fuel cells. Hydrogen-powered DFC cells are based on an all-ceramic design with active layers integrated symmetrically on both sides - thus increasing the active surface area while reducing the cell's dimensions. The reversibility allows the cell to operate not only in electricity generation mode, but also in hydrogen production (electrolysis) mode.
