Description Vendor

This automatic universal strapping press is a current Commonwealth Automation machine for fuel-cell stack compression, strapping and laser welding. A servo press holds precise pressure up to 60 kN while the stack compresses, and straps are automatically cut, formed and welded. The machine supports tooling sets for multiple stack sizes and can use a docking transfer cart for repeatable loading and unloading. It is intended for automated fuel-cell stack assembly where compression force, strap handling and welding are integrated in one production station.
