The HMP80 Series Handheld Humidity and Temperature Probes are designed for portable use, especially with the Indigo80 handheld indicator. These probes are ideal for spot-checking and field calibration of installed Vaisala humidity instruments. They offer high accuracy with RH accuracy up to ±0.8 %RH and temperature accuracy up to 0.1 °C. The probes are condensation-tolerant and feature a sensor purge to improve long-term stability and chemical resistance. They are compatible with the Indigo80 handheld indicator and Insight PC software, and come with a calibration certificate. The HUMICAP® R2C sensor provides excellent stability, fast response time, and low hysteresis. The robust design includes an IP66-classified probe handle for protection against moisture and dust. The probes are available in two lengths, with the longer model (HMP80L) suitable for extreme temperatures. They support flexible connectivity for portable use and data logging, and can be connected to Vaisala Insight software for Windows®.

Vaisala Oyj Vaisala Oyj is an industrial technology supplier whose business includes moisture, humidity, and gas measurement instruments relevant to hydrogen production and handling. The broader business is instrumentation-oriented, with sensors and analyzers supplied either as stand-alone instruments or embedded into machines, process skids, safety systems, laboratories, and plant automation so operating conditions can be measured and documented. The company’s products typically provide information to a larger control, safety, quality, or test system, making measurement accuracy, response behavior, interfaces, calibration, and environmental suitability part of the integration task. For hydrogen, the company’s actual role is defined by the specific pressure, flow, gas-detection, concentration, quality, temperature, electrical, or other measurement functions described in its portfolio; different suppliers cover different parts of this measurement layer. Its high-accuracy analyzers can monitor water content and dew point in gases and process environments where hydrogen purity and drying are important. Vaisala instrumentation is used for process control, quality assurance, and equipment protection in industrial gas systems. Within the hydrogen value chain, Vaisala Oyj therefore supplies instrumentation, monitoring, or safety technology to OEMs, test organizations, plant integrators, infrastructure developers, and industrial operators handling hydrogen.
