H2Cool – the Age to Cool:
The hydrogen cooling unit simply is a modular building block which is being placed on-site and connects to the compression systems of our customers. Torus Cooling builds and delivers the cooling unit certified to all applicable local rules and regulations. During production and after installation, pressure tests are performed to ensure all safety regulations (i.e. the PED Pressure Directive) are met. Our globally patented heat exchangers have the highest possible efficiency and cool dow. Due to our compact build, lowest overall energy consumption and maintenance free design, Torus Cooling can guarantee the lowest Total Cost of Ownership available in the market. We have named our stand-alone unit H2Cool, the Age to Cool.
Key Features:
- Modularly suitable for various temperature and flow protocols e.g. T40, T30, T20
- Cold production for buffer storages (i.e. 200-400-600-800-1050bar)
- Optional back-up solutions for maintenance and failure of (mechanical) components
- In-line cooling (to customer pipe specification)
- Compact construction
- Simultaneous cooling (buffer compression during refueling)
- Continuous refuelling (no waiting for cold battery)
- High safety requirements (hydrogen – propane)
- Natural refrigerants
Example Applications:
- Stand alone units for customers involved in production, compression and dispensing of hydrogen
- Hydrogen Refuelling Station in The Hague, The Netherlands
