The EC Sense Easy Gas Sensors ES1-H₂-1000-01 Hydrogen Gas Sensor is a high-selectivity hydrogen gas sensor utilizing solid polymer electrochemical technology. It is designed to detect a wide variety of gases with a long lifetime of over 5 years. The sensor offers fast response time, linear output, and excellent sensitivity at low temperatures, making it suitable for industrial safety, leakage detection, and hydrogen energy applications. It features a small size, RoHS compliance, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +55°C. The sensor has a high sensitivity of 9 nA/ppm ± 4 nA/ppm, a range of 0-1000 ppm, and a maximum overload of 2000 ppm. It also has a resolution of 0.1 ppm and a response time of T₅₀ < 10 s, T₉₀ < 30 s. The sensor is suitable for use in various environments, including industrial safety, leakage detection, gas manufacturing process monitoring, emission monitoring, semiconductor industry, power transformer, propellent detection, hydrogen energy, fire safety, and medical & health care. The sensor has a housing made of PPO with a weight of less than 0.7 g. It has a square body with dimensions of 12.5 mm by 11.5 mm and a total height of 5.5 mm including pins. The sensor has three pins labeled C, S, and R, and a central circular opening with a diameter of 6 mm. The sensor is RoHS compliant and has a warranty of 12 months.
