The Stox Smart Hydrogen Sensor Device is an intelligent sensor device designed for gas detection, particularly hydrogen. It features a 4-20 mA two-wire and RS485 Modbus RTU output signal, allowing for integration with various systems like DCS, PLC, and displays. The device uses solid polymer electrochemical gas sensor technology with a three-electrode arrangement (working, counter, and reference electrodes) to continuously measure gas concentration. It simultaneously detects hydrogen and measures temperature and humidity, making it suitable for industrial safety, smart home, and IoT applications. The device includes self-test functionality to evaluate sensor performance without gas measurement, and it is calibrated for instant use with calibration information stored in a flash chip. It operates in a wide temperature range of -40°C to +55°C and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. The device also offers long lifetime, anti-poisoning, and integrated safety protection for use in potentially explosive environments.
