The NET3X head with 4-20mA output is an ATEX/IECEx certified gas detection system component designed for use in fixed flammable gas detection systems or as a standalone field device. It features a stainless steel enclosure with a sensor and electronics, offering industry-standard 4-20mA analogue output and MODBUS protocol on RS-485 for digital addressable systems.
It is ready-to-use with a pre-configured and pre-calibrated sensor, and includes features like local threshold alarm outputs, watchdog, and local fault outputs. The unit supports various sensor technologies including infrared (IR), electrochemical (EC), and catalytic bead sensors, and is available with different thread options for compatibility with various detector housings.
It also includes a sinter filter for safe atmosphere entry and optional dust protection. The product is ideal for manufacturers who want to avoid developing their own sensors or electronics, offering a complete solution for integration into gas detection projects.
